Here is a peek at the work of New York artist Kirsten Hassenfeld, previously on view at Rice Gallery and Bellwether Gallery. Her enchanting sculptures, primarily made of paper, reconstruct precious objects on a large scale with mundane materials.

I love these bright and bold cards from Jennifer Ramos’ Las Vegas-based Made By Girl. More than just pretty, they’re also printed on 100% recycled paper. Check our her blog here.
I especially like the one on the bottom. “To the king of the castle.” Ha! Sassy.

As Chris Natrop finds form in emptiness, Melbourne artist Kylie Stillman carves emptiness into form. Using a scalpel, she carves birds, trees, and other natural shapes through hundreds of pages of paper. The result is surprising and delicate.
