Math goes glam.

…with Nervous System‘s math- and biology-inspired jewelry line, founded by MIT grads Jessica Rosenkrantz and Jesse Louis-Rosenberg. They use stainless steel and silicone rubber to give physical form to computer-generated, vaguely neurological abstract shapes.

If you’re looking to take your own nerdiness in both hands, you can even run an applet on their website that will generate your own custom jewelry design using an algorithm modeling dendritic growth (diffusion-limited aggregation, or DLA). The results are beautifully organic and coral-like.
