I am what I… am served in targeted interwebs ad placements?

Working at a digital advertising agency makes me hyperaware of the targeted content I am served on the interwebs. Usually, and to my chagrin, the Face likes to serve me ads like “25 and sick of your love handles?” with truly unappealing visuals in its seemingly innocuous right sidebar placement. But yesterday, after assessing everything it knows about me (quite a lot, I suppose), it thought an ad for this would suit me to a T…
