In hibernation.

Happy 2010 everyone! In Boston, the new year brought a pile of snow with it, so I’ve kind of been in hibernation mode – wearing thick socks and trying to stay warm. In that vein, I’m especially appreciating this handmade, hand-sewn book by Brooklyn-based Jackie Bos, I Heart the Arctic, inspired by Inuit myths and arctic cultures and now in its second edition. I love her illustration style and her use of different types of paper and vellum.
